God And Giving

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, unless they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you meet withal, it shall be measured to you again.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have to give I you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man has, and not according to that he had not.  For I mean not that other men are eased, and you burdened: But by equality that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over, and he that had gathered little had no lack.

Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.
