The Law Of Christ

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

And he said, Woe unto you also, you lawyers! for you lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and you yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. Bear you one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden.

Gal. 6:1-5;Matt. 23:4;Luke 11:46

Don't Promise Anything

But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; No, no: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil.

Go to now, you that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For that you ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now you rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Matt. 5:34-37;James 4:13-16

Swearing is when you want someone to believe you seriously.  You don't have to use curse words to identify your pain to people.  God knows your downsitting and your uprising, your thoughts afar off. God sees your pain and will deliver, trust God.  See many things, but don't observe these things.

Take no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself, it is enough things happening in the "today".  Take one day at a time, this is when your faith is at its fullness.  Stop, know and recognize, that the Lord is God, even us who believe in Christ for our Savior and Deliverer, should know, that who can know the hour and the day of the Lord, anyway, only God the Father.  So take one day at a time.  I was in the midst of believing God to help me and He reminded me to take one day at a time and I  made it through again, and again by faith.

Honestly, Let's Be Honest

For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Savior.

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

But the anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it have taught you, you shall abide in him.

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teaches in all good things.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord but also in the sight of men.

Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that you should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

That you may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that you may have lack of nothing.

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Bearing Witness Unto The Truth

Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

These six things does the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:...A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.

He that speaks truth shows forth righteousness: but a false witness, deceit.

A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answer you nothing? what is it which these witness against you?

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smite you me?

Pilate therefore said unto him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Behold, what manner of love the Father have bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither know him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

Don't Desire Your Brother's Things

And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.

Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

Or he that exhorts, on exhortation: he that gives, let him do it with simplicity; he that rules, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.

You shall not covet your neighbor's house, you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. No, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shall not covet.

You lust and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.

Delight yourself also in the Lord: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
