There has no temptation taken you
But such as is common to man: but
God is faithful, who will not suffer
You to be tempted above that you
Are able; but will with the temptation
Also make a way to escape,
That you may be able to bear it.
Where in you greatly rejoice,
Though now for a season, if need be,
You are in heaviness through manifold
Temptations:
My brethren, count it all joy when
You fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your
Faith works patience.
The Lord knows how to deliver
The godly out of temptations, and to
Reserve the unjust unto the day of
Judgment to be punished:
1 Cor.10:13; 1 Pet. 1:6; 2 Pet. 2:9; James 1:2-3
